MEMBER NEWS

Stacy Williams-Ng is currently exhibiting at the Milwaukee Ale House in Milwaukee's Third Ward.  The show will be on display from June 10th through July 29th and is from a series titled Dancing Near the Edge."  Williams-Ng states  "My artistic interest in portraiture and narrative scenes arises in part from my Southern background, where daily life revolves around the telling of good stories. Additionally, I draw deep inspiration for my current work from my daily life with my two children, a son and a daughter, whose depth and astuteness never fail to astound me."  The Milwaukee Ale House is located at 233 North Water Street, Milwaukee Wisconsin.  Visit www.staceywilliamsng.com for more about Stacey's work.

  • Susan Hale's painting "The Great American Landscape" has been accepted into a national juried show -
    "The Contemporary View: Midwest Landscapes" at the Dumont Gallery in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The show will run June 6 - July 26,2008
    Susan will be teaching at the Peninsula Art School, in Door County Wisconsin this summer - "Colorful Portraits - Painting People & Pets" - July 14-16. For further information please call 920-868-3455.

  • Joyce Eesley and Julia McMurray had paintings accepted into Transparent Watercolor Society of America's 32nd National Exhibition which runs from May 16th through July 28th at the Bloomington Art Center in Bloomington, MN.  The opening reception is June 14th.  They had more than 500 artists submit over 900 entries and only 85 paintings were selected.  Joyce also had a painting accepted into Emerald Spring national juried exhibit in Springfield, Oregon which will be taking place from April 20th through May 31st.  There were 546 entries with less than 75 paintings selected.
