Our Milwaukee Art Scene: LMA Member news and events

• LMA member Sandra De-George is currently included in a show at the Anaba Tea room. "Works from the teaching studio of James Hempel" that runs through December 3Ist.
• De-George is hanging 10 paintings at the Reuss Plaza. The "Silver Series 11 exhibit." which will run January 14 through February 25.
• De-George has work included in the membership show at the Museum for Wisconsin Art. "Watercolor Wisconsin 2011 will run from December 11. 2011 - April 21. 2012. One of the Racine Art Museum's most popular shows held at the Wustum Museum of Fine Art. Watercolor Wisconsin is a statewide competition organized by the museum annually since 1966. The following LMA members were juricd into the show: Helga Hilbert-Robinson, Julia McMurray, Judith Gahn Murphy, Jean Pascek, Johnna Papin, Diane Richards, Janet Roberts, George Ronsholdt, Barbara Sorenson Rambadt and Linda Tump. The WUSTUM isÊlocated at 2519 Northwestern Avenue in Racine 262-636- 9177 - www.ramart.org The Awards Ceremony and Opening Reception will be Sunday. December 11from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. During the reception Bruce W. Pepich, Executive Director and Curator of Collections will host the awards presentation.
• "Plymouth Arts Center/ Gallery 110 North presents "The Nature of Three" Main Gallery show. featuring Diane Bywaters, LMA Member Kristen Gjerdset and Laura lbbotson. with an opening reception Friday December 16, 2011 from 5-8 PM. The venue's Members Gallery Shoppe presents Artwork by LMA members Pat Zandron and Joyce Eesley, as well as Bob Beck and Ken Bronikowski December 16, 2011 through February 24, 2012. The Arts Center is located at 520 East Mill Street, Plymouth. WI: Hours: Tuesdays to Saturdays 12-4 PM: Sundays 1-4 PM
• * The Leenhouts Art Gallery in the common room of the First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee. 1342 Astor Street, presents "Jack Pachuta. Monoprints and CallioSgraphs," a One-person Exhibit of Original Prints. January 15th through February 25th, 2012. Opening reception is Sunday Janaury 15th from Ito 3 PM. Exhibits are open to the public Mondays through Thursdays. 10 AM to 4 PM. Fridays 10 AM to noon and on Sundays during coffee hours. from 10:15 to 11:15 AM. and from 12:15 to 1:15 PM. Just ring the bell for admittance!
