The 2008 Downer Avenue Plein Air Painting Competition has concluded for this year.  The League of Milwaukee Artists and Wisconsin Painters & Sculptors would like to thanks the merchants and residents of the area for providing such a lovely place to paint and generously sharing their neighborhood.  We'd also like to express our appreciation for the countless volunteers who lent help and hands, and a special thank you to the gifted participating artists who without them, this event would not take flight.
